MR Series for Porous Applications. The MR Series developed by UBS is a Hi-Resolution ink jet printing system designed for printing virtually any type of bar code, logo or text on a variety of porous substrates. The MR Series can print all GS1 (EAN International) bar codes. Print resolution of 180 x 180 dpi, Windows® TrueType Fonts and WYSIWYG touch screen interface are all standard.
The MR Series is engineered with a robust chassis design utilizing stainless steel casings, coupled with a high speed processor and a powerful, rugged and reliable electronic platform. Drop Volume Control System
The MR and UV series feature an innovative electronic circuit and unique drop dispensing design that controls the ink viscosity and drop size for optimum print quality. The constant volume for quality control system (CVQC) integrates state of the art technologies that eliminate fluctuations in print quality due to changes in environmental conditions.
Ink Temperature Control System
In addition to the CVQC the MR and UV Series feature an innovative ink temperature control system called the Automatic Temperature Adjustment for Quality (ATAQ) that provides exceptional print quality and stability.
The ATAQ constantly monitors the ink temperature at each individual channel in the printhead and automatically adjusts the ink temperature to maintain optimal operating conditions. This ensures maximum printhead performance resulting in consistently clear and crisp images, text, graphics and bar codes no matter the temperature conditions of the operating environment.
